RANKING “LAS MEJORES ESCUELAS GLOBALES DE NEGOCIOS 2017”

The Global Business Schools 2017 league table, prepared by the journal América Economía, strives to provide guidance to Latin American students when embarking on Master and Postgraduate studies in the best business schools around the world.

EAE ranked among the Top 35 best business schools in the world in the América Economía 2017 league table

EAE Business School has ranked among the Top 35 best business schools in the world by América Economía, in the journal’s league table Global Business Schools 2017, which analyses which business schools are the most prestigious for Latin American students from among a total of 49 institutions around the world. The league table was headed by IESE Business School, followed by Harvard Business School, Haas School of Business, London Business School and HEC Paris School of Management.

Key results published in the ranking include the fact that EAE Business School ranks as the second leading business school, just behind IE, in terms of the volume of international students on MBA programs. With respect to EAE’s innovation focus, the new criterion including in this year’s ranking, the School obtained the maximum possible score (100), along with the leading academic institutions around the world.

In addition, the School ranked fourth in the world in terms of equal participation between male and female students, and classified among the Top 10 business schools with the highest proportion of foreign students, and the institutions with the strongest professional network in Latin America.

THE GLOBAL BUSINESS SCHOOLS 2017 RANKING

The Global Business Schools 2017 league table, prepared by the journal América Economía, strives to provide guidance to Latin American students when embarking on Master and Postgraduate studies in the best business schools around the world.

In the 2017 edition, the main points to be evaluated in the ranking are, among others, the proportion of foreign students, the number of nationalities, the proportion of foreign lecturers, the percentage of women enrolled, and the proportion of applicants admitted to the School. As a new development this year, the journal has included the innovation dimension, in which it has analysed the School’s focus onpedagogical innovation, research and student development.

EAE’s MBA, amongst the 80 best in Europe and the 250 best in the world according to the QS Ranking

The EAE Business School’s full-time MBA programs of the have been highlighted amongst 250 best in the world according to the “QS Global 250 Business Schools Report 2017”. EAE also qualifies amongst the 82 Best European centres of education giving the MBA.

The ranking in terms of employability is led by Harvard Business School in North America, London Business School in Europe, INSEAD Singapore in Asia – Pacific, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Latin America, and the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town in the Middle East - Africa.

The ranking also publishes the results of three variables: the average GMAT of the MBA students, the percentage of international MBA students and the percentage of MBA students who are women. EAE Business School stands out amongst the schools with the highest percentage of international students on their MBA programs, above the ranking average at 53%. It is also among the institutions of greatest gender diversity, as 44% of MBA students are women, exceeding the 36% average of the ranking.

Master in Project Management, among the 35 best in Europe

The Master in Project Management, in its Full TimeEnglishExecutive Education and Global Education versions has appeared for the first time on the Eduniversal ranking among the 35 best European master’s degrees in the area of project management, in a classification led by Rotterdam School of Management, Maastricht University and Lyon Business School. The institution also stands out among the Top 5 of Project Management master’s degrees in Spain.

Master in Business Intelligence and Technological Innovation amongst the world Top 40

For the first time since it was launched, EAE Business School’s Master in Business Intelligence and Technological Innovation, in its Full Time and Executive Education versions, has appeared on the Eduniversal ranking amongst the 40 best master’s degrees in the world in the area of business intelligence, a ranking led by Universidade Nova de Lisboa – Information Management School, ESADE and Maastricht University. The institution also stands out among the Top 5 of BI master’s degrees in Spain.

Master in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets among the hundred best in the world

EAE Business School’s Master in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets, in its Full Time and Executive Education varieties is highlighted for the first time by Eduniversal among the hundred best master’s degree in the world in the area of the stock exchange and financial markets, on a ranking headed by Yale School of Management, Stanford University and The Wharton School of Business. The institution also appears among the Top 5 master’s degrees in this area in Spain.

Seven EAE Master’s degrees hitting the world rankings according to Eduniversal 

  • EAE Business School achieves the best qualification of its history on the Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking Worldwide 2016-2017, with 7 outstanding master’s degrees amongst the best in the world in their areas.
  • The School stands out amongst the best master’s degrees in the areas of MBA, Communication, Stock Exchange and Financial Markets, Project Management, Business Intelligence, Human Resources and Supply Chain Management.
  • The programs of the MBA, Stock Exchange and Financial Markets, Project Management and Business Intelligence are highlighted for the first time on the ranking.

Seven EAE Business School master’s degrees have been recognised amongst the best in the world in their areas of knowledge according to the Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking Worldwide 2016-2017. The highlighted programs are the MBA Full TimeMaster in Supply Chain Management, Master in Corporate Communication ManagementMaster in Human Resource Management, Master in Project Management, Master in Business Intelligence and Technological Innovation, and Master in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets. The School therefore significantly increases the presence of its programs on the Eduniversal ranking, going from three master’s degrees highlighted on it last year, to seven this year.

The Eduniversal ranking analyses more than 4000 master’s degrees and MBAs from thirty different areas of knowledge. This ranking is only open to the best 1,000 business schools in the world (there are around 15,000) and EAE is one of them.

MBA Full Time, among the 35 best in Europe

The MBA Full Time said the European ranking of best MBAs for the first time and is now in the Top 35 of programs of this area led by Copenhagen Business School, INSEAD and IESE. The Eduniversal recognition adds to the fact that a few months ago EAE Business School’s Full Time MBS programs were highlighted amongst the 250 best in the world according to the QS Global 250 Business Schools Report 2017. EAE was also highlighted amongst the 82 best European educational centres giving the MBA Full Time.

Master in Supply Chain Management, among the 90 best in the world

The Full TimeEnglishExecutive Education and Global Education Master in Supply Chain Management is once more placed among the 90 best master’s degree in the area of Operations and Logistics in the world, on a ranking led by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Additionally, for the fourth consecutive year, this Master’s degree is recognised as the third best in the area of logistics in Spain.

As well as the Eduniversal recognition, in 2016 it was highlighted as the second best master’s degree in the area of operations and logistics in Spain, according to El Mundo’s “250 mejores masters” ranking.

Master in Corporate Communication Management, in the European Top 35

The Full Time and Global Education versions of the Mastering Corporate Communication Management rise one place from last year and now rank 33rd among the Top 35 best European masters degrees in the area of communication, on a list headed by the Copenhagen Business School, London School of Economics and University of Mannheim. With these results,  EAE’s Master in Corporate Communication Management has been among the best of the area of Communication for 11 years, as in 2016 it was also heralded as the best communication master’s degree in Spain on the El Mundo “250 mejores masters” ranking.

Master in Human Resource Management, among the 45 best in Europe

The Full TimeEnglish and Executive versions of the Mastering Human Resource Management rises one place and is now the 44th best program on the Top 45 of best European Masters degrees in the area of people management, the list being headed by the Copenhagen Business School, Università Bocconi and Rotterdam School of Management. This recognition comes in addition to the fact that in 2016 it was ranked third on the list of human resource master’s degrees in Spain according to the newspaper El Mundo’s “250 mejores masters” ranking.

EAE, elected one of the 15 best business schools in the world according to the América Economía ranking 2016

The "Las Mejores Escuelas de Negocios Globales 2016” (Best Global Business Schools 2016) ranking drawn up by the Chilean América Economía magazine, is intended to guide Latin American students in their choice of master's degrees and postgraduate diplomas at the world's best business schools.

In the 2016 edition, the main points focusing the evaluation included the percentage of foreign students, the number of nationalities, the percentage of foreign teachers, the percentage of women enrolled or admitted to the School. The publication approaches the classification from four dimensions in establishing its ranking: the students' multicultural experience; the demands in the admission process; the institution's presence in Latin America, and; the international prestige of the School.

Eae entre las mejores escuelas del mundo según Diario Expansión México

GLOBAL MBA 2017” RANKING BY EXPANSIÓN MÉXICO

The “Global MBA 2017” ranking, drawn up by the prestigious Mexican journal Expansión aims to identify the best business schools in the world and their global MBA programs from the perspectives of both the students and the teachers.

In this edition, the publication invited 168 of the best business schools in the world to take part. The methodology of the ranking as one of the most demanding in the sector as in drawing it up, Expansión made a total of four surveys. In the first, made among all of the participating business schools, variables were analysed such as the profile of the students, the generated academic research, the composition and academic training of the teaching staff, employability and salary range of the students, as well as their multiculturalism and territorial diversity. The other three surveys are made of three stakeholders of the sector: readers of the publication, teachers of MBA programs given in México, and graduates of MBA programs in the country’s institutions.

EAE, among the best business schools in the world according to Expansión México

  • The “Los mejores MBA globales 2017” ranking, drawn up by the prestigious Mexican journal Expansión, highlights EAE Business School among the best business schools in the world on a classification led by Harvard, Stanford and Wharton.
  • EAE’s Global Executive MBA stands among the 60 best programs in the world. 

EAE Business School and the School’s Global Executive MBA have been highlighted amongst the best in the world according to the “Los mejores MBA globales 2017” ranking made by the prestigious Mexican journal Expansión. The classification draws up two different rankings, one which highlights the best business schools in the world, and the other that considers the best Global Executive MBA programs.

On the list of “The best schools and universities of the world on full-time programs”, EAE stands out as the 73rd best business school in the world. The ranking is headed by Harvard, Stanford and Wharton. Amongst the Spanish schools, EAE is the second-most appreciated business school in Mexico, both by the readers of the magazine and by former MBA students. What’s more, EAE is the third best Spanish school in the opinion of the teachers of MBA Programs. Something else that is of interest is that EAE stands out by offering gender equality amongst the students on its MBA programs.

On the classification “The best schools and universities with executive master’s degrees in administration”, EAE’s Global Executive MBA lies amongst the 58 best in the world. The top three positions are held by the Executive MBA Global Program of the London Business School, Executive MBA of Chicago Booth and the Wharton MBA for Executives.
