Máster de Big Data & Analytics
The new technologies are changing the world as we know it. Everything is becoming “smart” and full of information thanks to the social networks, mobile devices and the Internet of Things. Now, like at no other time, we have the capacity to get real-time information on all of the processes of our company, of our customers and even of our potential customers.
This huge amount of data is a revolution in companies for its volume, its volatility and its complexity. Technological management has become a key factor to guarantee business success, and this means a change in corporate technological and organisational structures. On the one hand, it requires the implementation of Big Data technologies capable of storing and viewing these data, and on the other, technical profiles specialised in different areas, which assume the challenges that this revolution involves.
Big Data, Data Science and Data Analytics are now those most demanded in a market incapable of covering this demand with existing resources.
In this context, the Master in Big Data & Analytics is designed to train professionals to fulfil what companies and institutions require at all times. It therefore offers a clear synergy between technology and management, which allows participants to develop the necessary skills and techniques in the area of Big Data to allow them to lead technological projects in different sectors of the economy and to be efficient in decision-making in this so globalised and dynamic sector.
Use of specialised software
The participants have free licences on specialised software in real-time on the School’s servers.
This is the only program in Spain in which more technical skills can be developed with the backing of our partner UPC, along with key skills in business management, backed by the experience of EAE (these programs are normally given at universities and more technical centres with less knowledge of management).
The Randstad Professionals report for 2016/2017 says that professionals trained in big data form part of the group of profiles in most demand for next year.
