The international real estate consulting firm, CBRE, has been one of the companies represented in EAE Talent Week, which puts the students in contact with leading companies from different sectors. Malgorzata Wojcik, senior consultant and capital markets; And Laura Espí and Pepa Ramos, human resources techniques, from CBRE, have explained the values and profiles they need in the organization, which has 70,000 professionals in 64 countries. In Spain, for 40 years it has a presence and employs more than 1,000 people.
Of the 384 interns that worked at ManpowerGroup Spain in 2105, slightly over 10% came from the classrooms of EAE Business School. These figures were shared with us by Marta Saavedra, the Director of Talent Acquisition and Selection at Manpower, when she was asked why she had returned to the Madrid Campus to present the company and spend almost an hour and a half interviewing students individually.
Decathlon celebrated last year 40 years, consolidating itself as a company that grows constantly, being Spain the third country in the number of stores. Of the more than 60,000 employees they have worldwide, 80% work in Europe, and more than 6,000 hires a year. The logistics department of the company is one of the most outstanding, since it is not outsourced, and "we always need staff because the company is expanding and we conduct interviews on a continuous basis to incorporate candidates", explain their logistics and HR managers, Francisco Javier Castro, Manuel Muñoz, Lara Álvarez and Nerea Bahón to the students during the conference.
Pioneer in Spain in the development of the 'Do it yourself' lifestyle, Leroy Merlin landed in Spain in 1989 and since then has grown at an average rate of more than two establishments per year. During the first day of the Talent Week of EAE Business School the students of the Campus of Madrid have discovered more about this French multinational, and especially about its program to train to heads of sector.
The Campus of Madrid and Barcelona have hosted this week the second edition of the Talent Week, launched by the Professional Career Service. From Monday 6 to Thursday 9 March, a total of 76 companies have passed through the facilities of the School, offering their programs and work positions in different areas to the students of the School.

The Madrid Campus of EAE Business School has hosted a new session of the Focused Program during the afternoon of Wednesday, February 22, being special this since it was the first one that covered legal issues. Cristina Paredes, PhD in Commercial Law from the U.C.M., R. Harvard Law School, and currently research professor at the School, has been in charge of conducting the session "Board of Directors: responsibility and challenges".

On Tuesday 21st February, a group of students from the Madrid Campus of EAE Business School visited the Romanticism Museum¸ located between Tribunal station and Plaza de Alonso Martínez. On this cultural outing, they had the chance to see the collection of historical objects, art and clothing from the 19th Century, as well as the temporary exhibition: the corset of Queen Isabel II.

The School of Business has celebrated the second edition of the Dean's List with a meeting with selected students of the Madrid Campus. The Paradís Restaurant has once again become the place chosen to bring together the students of the academic year 2016-2017, to foster relations between them and to make known the real meaning of the recognition of the Business School with this prestigious title.

On 16th December, the students on EAE’s Part Time and Weekend Master programs had a drink together to celebrate the arrival of Christmas and the start of the School’s holidays until after Epiphany. At both the Barcelona and Madrid Campuses, the School has spread the joy and excitement of the festive season, with students and lecturers coming together to eat turrón and raise a glass of cava together.
