Program Description

Tourism destinations specializing in organizing different kinds of events not only reinforces the added value of the destinations but also acts as a differential feature and a key factor in positioning that enables them to implement a diverse network of quality services and products to boost and develop business tourism.

The objective of the Master in Events Organization, Protocol and Business Tourism is to train professionals and executives to lead business projects focusing on the planning and management of different kinds of events (particularly benchmarking initiatives, congresses and conventions, incentives, trade fairs, business seminars), gain a firm command of the concepts of protocol and communication and public relations strategies, and generate tourism development in the quality business tourism segment, with the business perspective required to be efficient in terms of decisionmaking within such a globalized and dynamic sector, including the impact of new technologies.

Personal Branding Management

The program enables students to the develops competences related to personal brand management, including learning techniques for personal marketing and employability with the aim of detecting professional opportunities in Spain and abroad.

Emotional management

The program includes a number of sessions on stress management techniques, a crucial skill for any events organization executive, as their psycho-emotional balance is vital for effective team management.

Unique in Spain

This is the only full-time program in English in this field of knowledge.

Organizing Real Events

In the situation allows it, students will have the opportunity to participe in the organization of real events.

Business Game

The program applies a learning methodology based on business simulations, with physical models, enabling participants to tackle the challenge of understanding strategic planning through practice and execution within a context very similar to the real world that executives face in the course of their daily duties.

Case Study Methodology

The main teaching approach of this program puts participants in real business situations, so that they can analyse them and propose their own solutions.
