Director of the Master in Project Management, EAE Business School. Project Management Office (PMO) Consultant and trainer, with a wealth of experience in all aspects of planning, execution and monitoring industrial activities and IT projects. Rollout of PMOs in organisations, Project Manager for the space industry, and over ten years’ experience in project management for the development of hardware units for satellite platforms. PMP certified (Project Management Professional).

He has experience of projects and managing tuition and training courses. Lecturer at EAE and OBS (Online Business School), Master in Project Management (MPM). Since 2010. Lecturer at the EUG (Escuela Universitaria Gimbernat), Project and Program Management. Since 2010.

Joaquim Valls

Joaquim Valls Morató is an economist with a PhD in re-educating the subconscious using the graphic transformation method, and a Master in the knowledge and information society. He is the chairman of the Instituto Kimmon for training and emotional intelligence and the Director of the Centro de Estudios Empresariales, as well as a conference speaker, writer and graphologist.

Valls is a professor at EAE and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He has taught more than one hundred thousand hours of classes to over forty thousand students. He specialises in teaching numerical courses using the right hemisphere, using colours capturing patterns and metaphors.

He directs and co-presents the fortnightly section “Buena letra y buena vida” (Good writing and Good Life) on the program “Para todos la 2” on TVE, as well as being the director and co-presenter del program “Escuela de Vida: vive los libros” (Life School: Experience Books) on Radio 4 (Radio Nacional de España in Catalonia).

 

Gerard Lladó

Gerard Lladó has a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the Universitat de Barcelona (2002), a Master in Banking and Finance from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2008) and a Master in Statistics and Operational Research from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (2016). He is currently studying for his PhD in Statistics at the Universitat de Barcelona. He has taught at financial institutions throughout Spain in the company INDAE, and on Master and Postgraduate course at the Universitat de Barcelona and the Universitat de Saragossa. He currently teaches classes on Business Administration and Management and on the Master in Finance at EAE and he is an Associate Professor of Statistics at the Universitat de Barcelona.   

 

Sara Fontdecaba

Sara Fontdecaba Rigat has a PhD in Statistics and Operational Research from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and a Master in Statistics and Operational Research from the same university, where she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and Operational Research. Since 2014, she has been a lecturer and coordinator of the Statistics I and Statistics II courses on the Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and Management at EAE.

She has developed her dual academic and professional career within the university sphere, specifically focusing on the area of Big Data Analysis and Statistics. She has written a number of academic articles published in catalogued journals in the sector, in which she also works as a researcher, alongside her new field of research, teaching innovation. 

 

Rocío Alfaro

Rocío Alfaro-Pozo has an Industrial Technical Engineering Diploma, specialising in Industrial Electronics, from the UIB (2007), an Industrial Organisation Engineering Diploma (2010) and PhD in Business Administration and Management (2015) from the UPC.

Before joining the university as a lecturer and researcher, she worked as an inspector of electrical installations. In 2010, she changed the direction of her professional career and started working as an Associate Professor and qualified research support professionals at the UPC. She currently balances her lecturing duties at UPC and EAE with her role as Director of Quality at EAE Business School Barcelona.

Her research activities mainly focus on the area of production and logistics operations, specifically in sequence and balanced assembly line workloads. She has taken part in a range of projects funded by the Spanish Government’s National R&D&I Plan and has presented her work at a number of congresses and in journals.

In terms of her lecturing duties, she has been involved in courses such as Industrial Organisation, Operations Management, Decision Models and Tools, Quantitative Industrial Organisation Methods, Designing Production and Logistics Systems, Mathematics and Project Management.
