Adolfo Montalvo has a Bachelor Degree in Teaching from the UAB and a Master in Multimedia Application Design from the UPC in Barcelona. He is currently a member of EAE’s Teaching Innovation Group. Previously, he was the Academic Director of the OBS Business School and the Centro Universitario Internacional de Barcelona (UNIBA), which belongs to Grupo Planeta. He was also the Associate Director of Pedagogical Development at ESADE Business School.

In recent years, he has built his career focusing on “Management Pedagogy”, and some of his key publications and achievements are as follows:

Inge Larsen

From Denmark, Inge Larsen has a Master in International Business Development from the University of Southern Denmark. She has lived in Denmark, Germany, Peru and Spain, where she has gathered a wealth of experience in a range of industrial sectors, such as food and beverages, textiles, technology and education, in organisations ranging from small companies to multinationals. She has also worked on several business consultancy projects. Alongside her professional activities, Inge Larsen has been teaching on courses on Bachelor Degree and Master programs at a number of business schools in Peru and Spain since 2008, becoming the Academic Coordinator at one of these institutions.

 

Santiago Ávila

Santiago Ávila has over 35 years’ executive experience, 22 of which were spent as a General Director General in service, information technology and construction and technical maintenance companies. As a result, he has accumulated a wealth of experience in the field of business: decision-making, conflict resolution and negotiation, company reorganisation and scaling, management of multidisciplinary teams and reengineering processes (he has developed his own quality measurement system). He regularly writes for the newspaper El Confidencial Digital, in which he has an opinion column, as well as the journals Directivos y Gerentes, RRHH Digital, Capital Humano, One Magazine and, previously, El Diario de Negocio.

He currently lectures at EAE in the areas of Leadership, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. He combines his academic duties at the Schools with his role as a Partner and Director of Executives On Go, where, in his training and consulting activities, he focuses on areas such as: Commitment Measurement and Management, Talent Management, High Performance Teams, Transcendental Leadership, Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, Emotional Intelligence and Change Management. He is the author of “La Gestión Emocional” (Emotional Management) and “Aprendiendo a liderar” (Learning to Lead), published by Editorial Pearson.

Santiago Ávila has a Master in Economics and Company Management from IESE, the Universidad de Navarra, and a Higher Military Qualification from the Academia General de Zaragoza. During his time at the Academy, he completed the first year of the Bachelor Degree in Physical Sciences at the Department of Physical Sciences of the Universidad de Zaragoza.

Anna Fuchs is a psychologist, trainer, entrepreneur, coach and specialist in learning and training, leadership, the psychology of communication, intercultural communication, group moderation and relocation training. Anna is the representative of the Schulz von Thun Institute of Communication in Spain and was a member of the Board at SIETAR Spain (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research) during the last two terms of office.

Anna Fuchs is a lecturer at EAE Business School, CEA Global Education Barcelona, the Universitat de Vic and the Institute of Communication & Leadership in Lucerne, Switzerland. Born in Germany, she has now lived in Barcelona for almost 15 years. Creativity, personal interaction and interculturality are key parts of her background at both a personal and professional level.  

 

Rob Giardina

Robert Giardina was born and raised in the US and has been living in Barcelona, Spain, since 1990. He is a freelance trainer and instructor in Cross-Cultural Management, Conflict Resolution, and Teambuilding for EAE Business School and other universities. He is an Intercultural Consultant for various relocation firms. Previously, he directed a non-profit organisation in the US food distribution sector. He has an International Masters in Conflict Resolution from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and bachelor’s degrees in Food Marketing and English from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, USA. He was a founding board member of SIETAR Spain (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and research) and was President of SIETAR Europa in 2009-10.

 

Sara Rodríguez

Sara Rodriguez is an organisational psychologist and a certified intercultural trainer and consultant. She currently combines her work as a freelance communication trainer with her activity as a scientific assistant and coach for Leadership, Personality and Intercultural Communication at University. She supports groups as well as individuals to navigate across cultures and careers, and to steer their own development meaningfully.

She previously worked as a researcher and, at the same time, owned a company for intercultural communication where she is still working as a trainer. Her key training areas are leadership, cross-cultural awareness trainings and intercultural communication, diversity, personality trainings, team development and conflict management. She has lived and worked in three different countries (Spain, the USA and Germany) and is currently based between Berlin and Barcelona. 

 

Jesús Rodríguez Taboadela

He has a Bachelor Degree in Political Sciences and a University Diploma in Business, having completed several specialisation programs at a number of universities in the fields of marketing, finance and communication (EAE, UCLA, Department. of Economic Sciences). He has two decade’s experience in teaching and sports coaching, as well as professional experience in a diverse range of sectors including the internet. He is currently a businessman and entrepreneur.

 

Verónica Taranilla

Verónica Taranilla has a Bachelor Degree in Journalism from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, as well as a Postgraduate Degree in Photojournalism from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She lectures at EAE on Professional Development in the area of written expression and, at a professional level, she works on the production, editing and proofreading of written and photographic contents for RayBan, Adidas, Barcelona Dance, Ford, Allot Communications, Vice Ibérica Group and Ferrero Ibérica, among others. She is a lecturer on written journalism and the editor of the section ‘Gente Libre’ (Free People) on the website of the Asociación DateCuenta. 

 

Félix Velasco

An expert management and consultant and executive skills trainer, he is also a professional coach specialising in Objective-based Management. He is a board member at PHONELEARNING (language training by telephone in English and German) and a Founding Partner of FORÉTICA (Forum for the Certification of the Ethical Management of Companies and Institutions). He works with the Javier Benjumea University Chair of the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas ICAI-IC Business Administration and Management (Madrid) and the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in Lima. He is also affiliated to the Escuela de Organisation Industrial (EOI) in Madrid and the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, and is a researcher at the National Library of Spain.
