Drinks will be served after the ceremony at the same venue, until 22:00. 

Students and their guests should arrive at the Palau Sant Jordi by 17:00 (5.00 pm). Gentlemen are asked to wear a suit and tie, while ladies are asked to wear an evening dress. Each student can attend with a maximum of two guests. Deadline for registration: 20th June.

In order to ensure that your Graduation Ceremony runs smoothly, we would like to give you some prior instructions.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation and support in making the event a real success.


  • Date: Thursday 5th July 2018
  • You must be at the venue at Palau Sant Jordi at 17:00 (5:00pm)
  • Duration: From 18:00 to 20:15. Drinks will be served afterwards until 21:30.
  • Venue: Palau Sant Jordi. Avinguda de l'Estadi 40, Barcelona.
  • We recommend using the following public transport:
    • Metro: L1 or L3 to Plaça Espanya, where you can catch bus nº 150
    • Bus lines: 150: from Plaça Espanya/Maria Cristina, 13: from Plaça Espanya and 55: from C/Lleida/Av. Paral·lel.
  • If you come by car, Palau Sant Jordi has five parking areas. Check out the car park and access map HERE.
  • Attendees with limited mobility should park at the car park at Passeig Olímpic 15.

Dress code

  • The dress code is formal. Men are asked to wear a suit and tie, while women are asked to come in evening wear.

Access to the Pavilion

  • You should enter the Pavilion by the doors indicated, on the red carpet.
  • There will be a security check at the entrance to the venue, so we advise you to arrive with plenty of time.

Finding your allocated seat

  • On arrival at the venue, you must go to the check-in tables to find out which seat you have been allocated.
  • The seat is marked with a label saying Reserved for students (Reservado Alumnos).

Collection of graduation sashes

  • When it is time to collect the graduation sashes, students will be called up in groups of ten.
  • You should follow the Organizers’ instructions and the map placed on each seat at all times.

Live broadcast

  • The Graduation Ceremony will be broadcast live online at the following link:
  • You can share this link on to friends and family, and share it on your social media. Viewers must log on ten minutes before the event starts.
  • The event will be followed dynamically on Twitter (#graduacioneae18) and Facebook.
