For the third year in a row, EAE Business School ( has been ranked by América Economía  among the top business schools in the world. In the 2018 edition of the Global MBA ranking, EAE has climbed 8 places to reach the Top 25 best business schools in the world. The league table analyses which are the most prestigious business schools for Latin American students, with a total of 51 institutions all over the world being considered. The ranking was headed by Stanford Graduate School of Business, followed by Harvard Business School, IESE Business School, Haas School of Business and HEC Paris.

Key features of the data published in the ranking include the fact that EAE Business School ranks among the top ten business schools in the world in terms of gender balance on its MBA programs. Moreover, EAE ranks among the top five business schools with the greatest network scope in Latin America and for offering its MBA students the best multicultural experience.


Prepared by América Economía, the aim of the Global MBA ranking 2018 is to give guidance to Latin American students when they want to undertake Master and Postgraduate studies at the best business schools around the world.

In the 2018 edition, innovation, taken to mean the School’s focus on pedagogical innovation, research and student development, was the key decisive factor in terms of the indicators used for the ranking, with a big increase in the relative weight attributed to this aspect with respect to previous editions. This has enabled EAE to climb several places, while Stanford was named as the top school in the ranking. As well as this factor, the main points taken into account in the ranking include the proportion of foreign students, the gender balance in terms of the percentage of women enrolled, the students’ multicultural experience, the number of nationalities, the proportion of foreign lecturers and the percentage of students admitted to the school. The five dimensions taken into consideration for the ranking are: the multicultural experience and diversity of the student; the rigour of the admission process; presence and network of professionals from the institution in Latin America; international prestige; and innovation.
