Talent EAE 2019 closes its doors with excellent results

Students at EAE Business School and companies participating Talent EAE 2019 shared a high degree of de satisfaction with the recruitment initiative organized by EAE's Professional Careers Department. This edition has exceeded and, in fact almost doubled some of the initial forecasts for the event, such as the 170 partner organizations. Other key figures from the event include the 14,000 CVs submitted at Spain's number one employability event.
143 of the companies took part at stands, collecting an average of 100 CVs, while 46 participated in group activities, interviews and roleplays. In addition, 18 sector round tables were organized over the course of Talent EAE 2019. A total of 52% of the participating organizations had taken part on previous occasions, while over 3,000 attendees from full time, executive and undergraduate programs ensured the event's high attendance rate.
The results of Talent EAE Barcelona 2019 are as follows: 72 participating companies, 885 students registered, 1,000 student attendees, 417 participants in round tables and activities, 5 round tables, 68 stands and 13 group roleplay exercises. For Madrid, the results are: 100 participating companies, 1,595 people registered at the event, 2,000 attendees, 75 stands and 1,513 participants in 35 roleplay or group activities and 12 round tables.
In total, Talent EAE 2019 surpasses all expectations in terms of the number of participating companies, 172, holding 1,800 interviews. A total of 3,000 students took part and the participating organizations belong to 35 different sectors. Another key figure to exceed all expectations by a long way was the number of CVs submitted: 14,000.
Mahou-San Miguel at Talent EAE Madrid 2019
Companies including Google, Repsol, Coca Cola, BBVA, Banco Santander, Bacardi, SAP, Mattel, Samsung, LVMH, Nestlé, Ikea and Samsung, from 35 different sectors pays of Talent EAE 2019 held at the Madrid and Barcelona Campuses.
Demetrio Pedro Recio Gallardo, from the Department of People and Organization at Mahou-San Miguel, discussed his experience at Talent EAE Madrid. Demetrio emphasized aspects such as the great participation of attendees, the location and the training received by students of EAE Business School. "They are clearly well prepared and also have extensive experience in the employment world and a very evident professional orientation. We have been lucky enough to meet all kinds of profiles, with an emphasis on profiles interested in working in the Marketing area".
Mahou-San Miguel held meaningful conversations at its stand to present its internship program aimed at recent graduates, and the company in general, as well as dealing with any enquiries in this respect. Moreover, the beer company organized an innovation workshop in small groups to share ideas and give students an insight into the reality of the company.
With respect to the competences in the highest demand, at Mahou-San Miguel, they value competences related to digitization, innovation, responsibility, teamwork, resilience, non-conformity and cross-disciplinary work. The Director of the Department of People and Organization at the company also emphasized the candidates' skills such as good interpersonal relations, cross-disciplinary skills and the drive for constant improvement, "without losing sight of the great need for quality and customer orientation, as well as commitment".
At Mahou-San Miguel, they place particular importance on the management of interpersonal relations, social skills, empathy and initiative. "We focus our search efforts in the areas of packaging, maintenance, sustainability and purchasing", explained Demetrio Pedro.
