EAE Business School in 2009 created the Strategic Research Center, our research centre, with the mission of analysis and market research for its strategic application in companies and their environment, and thus to provide knowledge to key areas of business management. Since it was created, more than one hundred projects have been carried out, requested by more than four thousand institutions of all fields and the main media.

he Strategic Research Centre has three lines of own research:

  1. Perspectives, intended to analyse the main economic and social issues today in Spain and in the world. 

  2. Faculty Research, used by the teaching staff to present their findings and research.

  3. Briefing Research, in which students and alumni present their research works tutored by members of the Strategic Research Center.

Ana García-Arranz

Ana García-Arranz holds a PhD in Communication from the Rey Juan Carlos University, an MBA from IE Business School where she specialised in Corporate Strategy & Global Management. She has a degree in Communication and Marketing (URJC), a Master in Research applied to Communication and Marketing (UC3M) and a Doctoral Thesis in the field of Political Marketing and Applied Sociology. Throughout her career she has taught at the Carlos III University of Madrid and at the Rey Juan Carlos University, while directing and collaborating in national and international R&D+i projects. She has also worked in media, strategic consulting and business development. She is currently the Director of the Strategic Research Center (SRC) at EAE Business School. She teaches different subjects in this school in the field of strategic and operational marketing. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the scientific journal methaodos.revista of social sciences, of the methaodos.org research group, recognised for its excellence by the National Agency for Evaluation and Prospective (ANEP). She has three published books, research articles in leading journals and conference papers, all focused on the field of corporate communication, strategic marketing, information technology and CSR.

Óscar Romera Jiménez

Óscar Romera Jiménez holds a PhD in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad San Pablo-CEU and a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid. Master in Economic-Financial Management and Banking by the Institute of Business Executives. He has a diploma in Public Leadership from the Instituto de Empresa (IE) and in Leadership in Public Management from IESE. Associate professor in the Department of Business Economics of the Rey Juan Carlos University and postgraduate in the School of Business Administration (EAE Business School) and the Rey Juan Carlos University. Speaker at conferences, on courses and national and at international conferences related to the Economy and Administration. Member of the Scientific Committee of ITGSM16 and of itSMF Spain. He currently works as an advisor in the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations with leave of absence at the CaixaBank financial institution.

Iván Zamarrón Mieza

A PhD Candidate in Civil Engineering from the UPV (2017), Civil Engineer (2002) and Master in Project Management (2009) from UPM, EMBA from EAE Business School (2012), PMP® and PMI-SP® from Project Management Institute (PMI, USA), MCP® and Microsoft Specialist. Consultant, lecturer (Honduras, Costa Rica, Spain, etc.) and teacher in Strategic Project Management, Iván has 15 years of experience in international engineering and construction projects (Colombia, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Spain, etc.) and in PMO consulting. He directs Co. Ingenia and is involved in the academic direction of the master's programs in Projects and Operations of EAE Business School Madrid.

Jose Luis Pérez Huertas

José Luis Pérez Huertas holds a PhD in Economics, Business and Finance from the Camilo José Cela University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Seville. He is certified as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coaches Federation. He is a Managing Partner of Talent Factory and a Consultant in Management Development. He previously held management positions in different consulting organisations. He was also a part-time Associate Professor in the Department of Economic Theory and Political Economy of the University of Seville. He is currently Director of the Master in Human Resources Management and Talent Management at EAE Business School.

Izaskun López Samaniego

Data Science & Design in the telecommunications sector. Degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences and diploma in Statistics from the Complutense University of Madrid. For more than 15 years Izaskun has been responsible for Intelligent Business in Management Control and Marketing departments, as well as Product Design in the TELCO sector. He currently collaborates on projects such as data science with the association Vertidos 0.

Javier Pollán

Javier Pollán holds a degree in Commercial Management and Marketing from ESIC and PDD from IESE. He is Commercial and Marketing Director at Business in Action, a marketing consultancy specialising in digital environments and mobility technology. He has been Commercial and Marketing Director in companies such as Legálitas, Barbarella or Microsoft and has participated in the launch of start-ups such as Lanetro and Twindocs.

Iván Robles

Iván Robles has a degree in Mathematics and a Telecommunications Engineering. More than 10 years of experience in data analysis developing various projects in different areas, specialising in the telecommunications sector. He currently works as a data scientist in Orange. He is a trainer in Master and Higher Training Programs and an expert in the use of a wide variety of statistical models and knowledge of modelling tools.

Alberto Peralta

Alberto Peralta is a PhD candidate and expert in Strategic Innovation of business models and Bachelor in Economic and Business Sciences. He has developed his professional career as head of new business, advisor and instructor in Lean Startup, innovation and strategy in Spain and in Latin America. He is a visiting professor at EAE Business School. He develops his professional activity in collaboration with Steve Blank, Bob Dorf, the University of Cambridge (GB) and some of the most advanced corporations in the world.
