Globalisation, new information technologies and new distribution and sales channels appearing thanks to the Internet have changed both marketing strategies and the way we sell. Competing in global environments has increased the number of markets in which we are able to operate, but also the number of competitors we face, so it is necessary to approach the commercial and marketing management from a more innovative perspective: consumers are ever more demanding and have more information, so they have a clear idea of what they want and need.
The International Master in Marketing Management and Market Development is designed to train professionals to lead these changes and turn market opportunities and challenges into competitive advantages for the company. Professionals who have solid training in marketing and sales management, who are aware of the new marketing trends and have a deep knowledge of the organisational aspects that generate corporate value, something that is key in allowing any organisation to grow.
The residential program is a mixture of different components, all of which are fundamental in the learning and teaching of the master’s degree, which are structured over three main axes:
The strategic conception of the marketing function in the company, and its relationship with the commercial world and the market
The concept of retail and its application in competitive environments
The organisation of events and sponsorship as a motor of growth in the sports sector.
In the agenda of the residential program, the participants on the master’s degree can attend:
Talks: Given by specialists in different marketing areas
Business Game: The program implements learning through business simulation, which implies the challenge to understand strategic planning through its practice and performance in a context very similar to the reality in which executives face each other each day.
Visits to companies: During the residential course, companies are visited such as: FC Barcelona, DAMM, Pabellón Olímpico JCB, RCD Espanyol, Centro Comercial SPLAU.
