Four students on EAE Business School’s Master in Supply Chain Management took the examination to gain SCPro Level One certification from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), which is based in the United States. Two students, Anahi and Vernon, successfully passed the examination and therefore received this certification. Carlos and Luis, the other classmates to take the examination, came extremely close to passing and we have no doubt that they will do so on their second opportunity.

The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals is the leading global association of logistics and operations professionals. Thanks to an agreement with the Council, the students were able to sit the examination on the School’s premises, being the School’s first students to try out for certification.

SCPro examination at EAE Business School

The SCPro Level One is a voluntary certification that acknowledges and verifies the knowledge of professionals that pass the examination at a global level. The Programme Director of EAE’s Master in Supply Chain Management & Logistics, Miquel Serracanta, explains that the accreditation gives successful candidates "an extra step forward in terms of their curriculum and professional opportunities".

"We tell students that it is an extremely good complement to the Master, completely in line with the content and goals of the course, which enables them to gain accreditation of the knowledge they have acquired from an independent organization that is recognized around the world", adds Miquel.

Designed for executives in the Operations area, EAE’s Master in Supply Chain Management gives students a comprehensive vision of the supply chain, from the suppliers right through to the customers, giving them in-depth insight into the different planning and execution functions that are connected in a chain to ensure that they provide value to the customers and consumers.

We would like to wish Carlos and Luis lots of luck on their second attempt and give our sincerest congratulations to Anahi and Vernon, who will be joining us for a short interview tomorrow.
