EAE, one of the leading Business Schools, is visiting Ecuador to organize a series of academic activities and events. The tour, which takes place on 5th and 6th October, is headed by the Vice Dean and Director of EAE's Postgraduate School, Dr. Cristina Tomás, a highly respected expert in global economics.
The visit starts tomorrow with a conference at the Universidad Internacional de Ecuador (UIDE). In the afternoon, Dr. Tomás will give a conference entitled "F.C. Barcelona – Real Madrid: The eternal match", at the Hotel Best Western Plaza Hotel de Quito. The session is aimed at former students of EAE Business School, young people interested in studying at the School and other professionals (businesspeople, company directors, entrepreneurs, etc.).
During the conference, the expert will analyse how the two biggest rivals in the history of football, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, compete off the pitch. "The competition between the teams transcends football to the point that they encompass all of the aspects of business management. Both compete to consolidate the most important brands in global sport", explained Cristina Tomás.
The EAE Ecuador Tour is a further demonstration of the School's commitment to the country, where there is an important community of former students and the School has alliances with institutions such as the Universidad del Pacífico, the Universidad Pontificia de Ecuador – PUCE and the Escuela Politécnica del Ejército – ESPE. In addition, the tour will enable EAE to introduce itself to young Ecuadorians interested in studying on its programs in Europe.
Founded in 1958, EAE Business School is an international higher education institution specializing in management. Over its 59 years of history, more than 73,000 executives and professionals from more than 100 countries on all five continents have placed their trust in EAE.
