EAE Business School publishes the Employment Report for MBAs

EAE Business School has published its Employment Report for MBAs, which presents all the employability statistics for the School’s MBA students in all of the program formats: Full-time MBA, International MBA, Executive MBA and Global Executive MBA. The report reveals that 44% of our MBA students received a job offer before graduating. The average increase in graduates’ salary is 30% within a year of gaining their qualification at EAE Business School, to reach an annual average of 62,879 euros.
The students on the International MBA had the biggest pay rise, with a 53% increase, to reach an average of 60,188 euros per year. Students on the Executive MBA received a 41% rise in the salary, to reach an average of 68,767 euros; Full-time MBA, graduates got a 25% increase, up to 57,088 euros per year on average; while students on the Global Executive MBA reported a 27% increase in their salary, to reach an average of 96,818 euros.
The sectors in which our students have found most work are health, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals (13%), industrial (13%), banking and finance (12%) and mass market (11%). The companies in these sectors that have recruited most EAE talent include Deloitte, PWC, Unilever, L’Oréal, Nestle, Banco Santander, Volotea, HP, IBM and Ecolab, among others.
“During the selection process, EAE’s Professional Careers Service accompanied and guided me throughout the entire process, with continuous and completely impartial support. The team gave me insight into what each interview would be like over the course of the process, giving me tips for tackling them, which significantly increased my level of confidence and helped me to prepare effectively”, explained Jacobo Maceira, a graduate of the Executive MBA and current Head of Customer Network Support Iberia and Cloud Domain Manager for Europe and Latam at Ericsson.
Last but not least, 7% of our MBA graduates opted to set up their own business. The countries in which they started their ventures were Spain, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru and Argentina. The main sectors selected by our entrepreneurs were Technology and IT (10%), Industry (20 %) and Tourism (20%), among others.
Our MBA students include 46 nationalities. 67% of our graduates has over 5 years’ experience, 36% are women and the average age is 33. 35% of our MBA students have a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and Management and 31% are Engineering graduates. Other previous qualifications of our MBA students include economics (11%), Law (7%) and Marketing (5%).
