Having a Bachelor Degree in Social Communication and a Master in Business Communication, her interest has always involved integrating the power of the communication in our daily lives, from a social and managerial perspective. As such, as a researcher, her concerns are related to developing and understanding the role of narratives, conversations, rhetoric, discourse and other social activities in the development of management practices and their performance in different types of organisations.

She has a PhD in organisation and business management, and the subject of her doctoral research was strategy as practice in Spanish Higher Education Institutions, the analysis of which focused on the narrative of academic managers regarding the strengths and weaknesses experienced in strategy making.

Therefore, her interests are related to the field of university management and governance, management tools, strategy implementation, management control, strategy as practice, narrative and discourse theory and methods, conversational capital, qualitative methodologies, innovation, modernisation and internationalisation strategies and policies.

She is also a collaborator in the development and diffusion of the concept of "Capital Conversational - KCv", a project which provides a conceptual framework that highlights the relevance of creating a platform for the proliferation of "conversation" within organisations.


Luís Seguí

PhD from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Master in Economic and Financial Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Dr. Seguí has spent his 24 years of professional experience in the public and private sector, holding a range of both technical and managerial positions. He is currently a consultant for management and environmental matters, as well as lecturing on Bachelor Degree and Master programs at EAE and the UPC.

The research he has carried out has resulted in 5 articles being published in leading international journals, with peer reviews and impact rating. In addition, he has published 5 chapters in books, 10 articles in various media (journals, videos, presentations and online), as well as more than 22 contributions at national and international congresses.

He has been involved in the execution of 4 research projects by competitive tendering, including the ASDECO R&D&I Project of the National Research Plan 2004 to 2007, on which he was the head researcher.


Albert Arisó

Albert Arisó Cruz is a Doctor in Philosophy and Education Sciences from the University of Barcelona. He currently works as a teacher at EAE Business School and in addition to the general coordination of the degree at the School, he develops and investigates teaching and learning methodologies. In this area he is the director of the EAE Teaching Innovation group GID-EAE) and a member of the RIMA, or Research and Innovation in Learning Methodologies project of the UPC, which promotes the teaching staff's participation in innovation and educational research.

His publications and participations in congresses and seminars include the 5th International Congress of University Teaching (CINDU 2015) on 25, 26 and 27 June at the University of Vigo; his inclusion as a Guest Teacher at the 16th Philosophy week at Mackenzie Universiry in Sao Paul; the 7th World Congress of Learning Styles  - CMEA 2016 Portugal, and the 11th European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship – ECIE, 2016. Jyväskylä, Finland.


Carla Vintró

Carla Vintró Sánchez has a Mechanical Technical Engineering Diploma (2004) and an Industrial Organisation Engineering Diploma (2007) from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Master in Occupational Risk Prevention (2007) from the Universitat de Barcelona and a PhD in Natural Resources and the Environment (2011) from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Since 2008, she has been a lecturer in the Company Management Department of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. She also currently teaches at EAE Business School and the Universitat Central de Catalunya.

Dr. Vintró has also given presentations at several national and international congresses, as well as publishing articles in scientific journals. Her main lines of research focus on management systems and Corporate Social Responsibility. 


Gema Calleja

Gemma Calleja Profesora EAE Business School


Information Systems (SI)


Gema Calleja has a PhD in Business Administration and Management and an Industrial Organisation Engineering Diploma from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Since 2016, she has formed part of the faculty at EAE Business School and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Company Organisation at the UPC. She lectures on courses on Quantitative Methods and Information Systems. Her research interests focus on problem modelling and resolution in the field of Organisation Engineering.


Rita de la Torre

A consultant in management computing, she has a Master in the Information and Knowledge Society and a PhD in Candidate Knowledge Management. She specialises in process automation focusing on BPM technologies, ERP and CRM systems, Database architecture and modelling, training material design and Online Documentation.
